Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine skiing champion who took home silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. She is the only female skier to hold the second highest Super Score. She's among the top skiers in the world and is also the most loved skier in America. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup-winning alpine skier from America with the nickname Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She holds 4 overall World Cup victories. She is one of the most well-known athletes throughout American history. She is among only six female athletes who have taken home trophies the five World Cup competitions in alpine. Overall, she has earned more than the 82 World Cup titles. An elite skier and one of the most experienced ski racers, she has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships, which will be held in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues led her to become a multiple World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. The four-time overall World Cup champion announced her retirement via social media.
