Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The performance she gave in that small role was so fascinating that the agent who cast the show asked to cast her in the major roles in the series. Though she was able to audition for the role, she was not selected. The role was instead set in the series in the role of Cassie Turner. She is a young struggling girl living within foster homes. She then became a successful television actor in several TV movies, such as A Friend to Die For which was released in 1993 A Carol Christmas in 2002 and The Last Sharknado (It's About Time) in the year 2018. In 1997, she appeared in The House of Yes. Scary Movie 2, 2001, and Kiss the Bride. She went on to make independent film. In 2019 she recast Donna Martin's role in Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off.
