Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and performer best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. Her first music album It's Time for Tina that same year. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive hit and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her early years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
