Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head girl and received straight As on her A-levels. Coleman regrets not having get a normal college education in her discussion of the Emmerdale experiences. Coleman was in High School, was a member of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. She won an award for her performance and the play was also received favourably. Coleman, who was looking to audition for drama college in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was awarded two awards in 2007. She won The Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. At the 2009 British Soap Awards she was recognized in categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance categories. Coleman was awarded an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman would as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her for the part because she was the most effective with Smith and could speak more rapidly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's participated in TV and film projects. She has however been more prominent on TV than in films. Of all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that make an impression. The former even earned her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is, along with being an actress is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. The actress has three marriages and has one daughter with her second husband.
