Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. She has released more than 20 albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk and alternative rock. But, they have influences from hip hop as well as jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco is frequently regarded as the feminist's icon and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as to be the first pioneer of DIY music. She was one of the first artists to establish the label she created in the year 90. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother was born in Montreal and her father is of Italian origins.
